Welcome to the home of Dinefwr Photographic Society. The society is a group of friendly like minded individuals who share a passion for photography, both through the traditional film method and the more current digital methods.
The society welcomes both beginners and experienced photographers alike in order that individuals can explore their creative talents, and share their knowledge, skills and ideas with each other.
The society meets on Thursday evenings at 7pm at the White Hart Inn, Carmarthen Road, Llandeilo every 2 weeks. Check out what we are up to on Programme page.
Hugh Gillings
Sadly, Hugh Gillings, founder and the driving force behind Dinefwr Photographic Society (DPS) recently passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Dinefwr Photographic Society was formed 16 years ago when Hugh created a place where aspiring photographers of all skill levels could meet, share and expand their knowledge. His philosophy was simple, have fun and enjoy your photography, learn, share and make friends.
His enthusiasm for photography was infectious and his laughter from his own corny jokes would be heard across the room.
Most of us only knew Hugh through joining DPS but everyone regarded him as a warm, welcoming and jovial person. A true friend.
Hugh will be missed.
