A packed out meeting on 17th February were entertained by our club member John Burton. John provided the society wiith two wonderful presentations, the first was a look at some photographers and photographs that have influenced him, and the second was a documentary style presentation on the Eagle Hunters in Mongolia. Both presentations were equally met with positive feedback, as John provided plenty of information and stories behind the images from both shows - our thanks go to John for a thoroughly superb evening.

On Saturday the 4th February, the Society had its' second studio lighting workshop for 2012, with a good number of members turning up to gain experience on Studio Portrait photography.

The programme for 2012 is now online to view, and offers a mix of field trips, studio lighting sessions and guest speakers among other activities. The next meeting is an Audio Visual (AV) evening, a first for the society which should prove to be an interesting new addition to our programme.
