Simon started taking photographs using his fathers’ Olympus system camera as a teenager with landscape and mountains being his main interest. Following a long break, his interest was rekindled and moved to a digital camera. Simon joined the society to learn from others and to get some constructive feedback on his efforts.
He found that that experienced members were are only too willing to share their experience and offer their advice. Simon uses The Olympus OM-D system which provide the perfect system for him, being small and light making it easy to carry when out in the hills. He hopes to expand his portfolio and intend to experiment more with street and portraiture photography.
