With the lock-down continuing and the club unable to meet on a face-to-face basis, we are still remaining active and have a weekly online meeting via an application called Zoom. Dorian is keeping everyone updated regarding the club's situation, and also will include details on how to take part in our Thursday night Zoom meetings. Please check your e-mails regularly to ensure that you can participate.
We have had several successful Zoom meetings, and we are using these meetings as Photo Challenge evenings. The topics for the Photo Challenges are sent out via e-mail from Dorian, and also are shown on the Calendar of Events page on the website.
You can still remain active in your photography throughout this period by considering the following - setting up a home studio for portraits/still life, study your camera's manual and explore the various menu settings, follow a few YouTube channels, photography in your garden, check out various websites, read any photography books you may have - just some ideas to help keep you active. Some members have been active and getting creative during this period of lock-down, as evidenced in the recent Photo Challenges.
Thanks for your co-operation and understanding, hopefully we will meet and see you all soon.
